Client expectations for life coaching services

As a future or current client, access to my code of ethics will ensure you have the opportunity to understand my commitment to my clients and the reasonable expectations you can have when choosing my life coach program. Life coaching is unlike other professions in that, because it involves a trusting relationship between coach and client, aspects of the coach’s personal and professional life are inextricably tied. I commit all of myself to my clients, and you will find that my code of ethics reflects the kind of person and coach I am, as well as the way I strive to live my life and run my business.

Code of Ethics: Life Coaching for Women

  1. First and foremost, I commit to seek to honor God in every aspect of my life and coaching.
  2. I commit to continually build my own faith and relationship with God through regular prayer, Bible Study and active involvement in my local church.
  3. I commit to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle myself so I can offer clients (both with and without fibromyalgia) hope and encouragement for a better way of life.
  4. I commit to bring an attitude of hope, encouragement and faith into every life coaching session.
  5. I commit to pray for my clients through the duration of our coaching as well as in preparation for each session.
  6. I commit to stay active in the professional life coaching community through continued education, seminars and by taking every opportunity for professional growth.
  7. I commit to stay active in the fibromyalgia community by raising awareness, speaking publicly and keeping my online fibromyalgia community updated and fresh.
  8. I commit to provide exceptional, applicable service to all clients. If I find that a client’s goals are not within my area of expertise or comfort, I will refer her to another coach so she can receive the best possible guidance for her life.
  9. I commit to coach my clients non-judgmentally and to provide the same attentive service to all clients regardless of race, age, gender, background or sexual or religious preference.
